Sunflowers, lemon drizzle cake and a beautiful lace dress in a Spring wedding at Lyde Court, Herefor
This was the first time I had photographed at Lyde Court in Herefordshire. Lyde Court is the most gorgeous venue - right up my street. A beautiful old stone barn, gorgeously styled with a definite boho feel - candles, mismatched tables and chairs, a bonfire, wooden benches and lots of capacity for the creative bride and groom to decorate it as they please, which is exactly what Dave and Jo did. Lanterns were strung from the ceiling (no easy task as the ushers will attest to), there was bunting outside, African fabric as a hint to the groom's Ghanain background, a photo booth, a lacrosse game (a first at any wedding I've ever been too and I ever shall I suspect) gorgeous lavender and most importantly a wonderfully laid back and relaxed wedding. There was a lot of smiling, a lot of laughing and a lot of drinking :-) It truly was the most wonderful day - Dave and Jo, I wish you every happiness in the world. Thankyou for letting me document this amazing wedding at Lyde Court xxx
