A beautiful military / boho wedding at Malmesbury Abbey
This wedding was amazing - everything about how it was planned, styled and executed was my idea of heaven - think beautiful flower crowns, mismatched pastel bridesmaids dresses from Ghost, a stunning Charlie Brear wedding dress, candelabra's, a homemade bar complete with homade drinks, a definite boho wedding vibe throughout but with heaps of men in uniform...oh and did I mention there were heaps of men in uniform...
The whole wedding was a completely wonderful mixture of two of the loveliest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Jon is in the army, so they had the troops out in full uniform, a guard of honour and the reception took place at the officers mess. The mess hall was completely transformed by the brides mother for the wedding reception and it looks stunning. White fabric draped from the ceilings, candelabra's and green and white wedding flowers flowing out of a variety of beautiful vases and jars.
The bride and bridesmaids had a beautiful boho wedding feel about them with flower crowns, mismatched bridesmaid dresses, and a stunning Charlie Brear wedding dress (one of my favourite dress designers). The girls were phenomenal - the atmosphere in the morning was so relaxed but full of excitement, everyone looked stunning and was mucking in to help out.
And these guys can party - the reception finished at 6am! And they then headed out to Greece to get married all over again and have ANOTHER party for all their friends and family - now that ladies and gentlemen is how its done xx
