The Moonraker, Wiltshire Wedding Venue
I'm going to start profiling some of my favourite wedding venues - you know, the ones that just attract the kind of people I love working with, that have lovely staff, look gorgeous and all that malarky. The Moonraker in Wiltshire is where I shot one of my favourite weddings which you can see over on Love My Dress here. It is an awesome wedding venue - really beautiful inside, stylish in a laid back, country way. They have a gorgeous marquee attached to the main building where you can have dinner which has a lovely wooden floor, log burning stove, sofa's, wooden tables. It is a really gorgeous space to style and make your own, but already feels unique and different to a run of the mill marquee. I've shot both summer and winter weddings here now and it suits perfectly both seasons. This wedding was in January and feels so lovely and cosy.
Inside the main building there is a beautiful wedding ceremony room with a huge fireplace and just off here is a cosy little bar - perfect for hiding in and downing some pints of real ale when the party gets too much!
Outside you are surrounded by beautiful fields and there is the most amazing cottage garden where a lot of the produce for the food is grown. In fact, one of the best things about this venue is that it isn't just a wedding venue - they don't churn out hundreds of weddings each weekend. This place is an amazing restaurant and b&b in its own right. They have an onsite smokery, their own bees, grow a lot of their own veg so your wedding breakfast will be something really special.
On top of this the staff are mega friendly, there is loads of space for the creative bride to style the day as she wants and its perfect for those looking for a relaxed, laid back wedding day.
