Laid Back River Cottage Wedding

I have been hoping to photograph a River Cottage Wedding for so long! River cottage has everything that I love - amazing food, incredible eco friendly credentials, glorious land covered in seasonal flowers and vegetables - perfection. So when I found out that they did weddings there I was over the moon. Last year I was on a flower crown making course and I met the lovely Charlie. While attaching foraged flowers to pieces of wire she told me all about what sort of a wedding day she was hoping for and when she got in touch a few months later to tell me that she'd booked River Cottage for her wedding and asked if I would photograph it I jumped at the chance.

The wedding day was just wonderful. So chilled out and laid back.. Charlie did an amazing job of creating a day that fitted in perfectly with the venue at River Cottage, hessian bunting, homemade gin favours, my favourite wedding shoes I've ever seen and both her and Will looked utterly gorgeous. The day was just wall to wall with smiles and laughter, exactly as a wedding should be. Even the thick fog that covered us all day didn't damper spirits, if anything it added even more atmosphere to the day
