3 Tips to get the Best out of your Cotswolds Baby shoot - Cotswolds Newborn baby photographer
As a Cotswolds baby photographer I love to capture babies in the first few months of life. My photography style is lifestyle and relaxed, no posing and props just you and your baby, capturing those precious moments that are gone before you know it.
I've been a Cotswolds newborn photographer for over 8 years and over that time have learnt how to get the most out of your baby shoot. They are usually schedules for late morning which tends to be when babies are at their most relaxed and I can often capture some awake time and some sleepy baby shots too. Here are my top 5 tips for getting the best out of your Cotswolds baby photo shoot
Keep the house warm. This way baby will be comfortable and warm and we can photograph them both with any sweet outfits you have picked out for them, but also just wrapped in a blanket without them getting cold and grumpy
Look for the place in your house with the most light and if possible try to keep an area by the window clear. This is often in the bedroom or the living room and will be where I do much of the shoot. I don't need much, a little space, some beautiful window light and we are good to go
Pick out clothing that is neutral and timeless, you don't want these photos to feel dated in years to come. As a Cotswolds baby photographer my style is soft, light and timeless - I want these images to last for decades and to feel as relevant in 50 years as they do today.
