Davenport House Wedding Photographer

Davenport House was a new wedding venue for me to photograph and I fell in love with it instantly. A stunning country manor wedding venue in Shropshire it has everything you could want for an elegant English country wedding - stunning interiors, stately home, beautiful garden and grounds.

The first time I chatted to A&C we instantly clicked - warm, funny - we chatted for well over an hour and I knew it was going to be a great party. The wedding managed to combine elegance and tradition with a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Davenport House helped to create an atmosphere that was more akin to a big house party than a formal wedding. The day started getting ready at Davenport House before heading to the beautiful church just at the end of the driveway for a traditional ceremony. A double decker London bus then transported all the guests back to Davenport House wedding venue for champagne and canapés on the lawn entertained by a wonderful magician before sitting down to the most incredible meal. Speeches had everyone in laughter and many a tear was shed at the heartfelt moments, after which guests played lawn games and sipped cocktail on the lawn before heading inside to dance the night away.
